I made this my junior year in ceramics for my slab project. It is the Burton snowboard logo with many other snowboarding logos carved on it. I used black low fire glaze and clear high fire on top.
These are a pair of hippo heads that I made out of clay for my art teacher in high school. Its low fire dark green and leaf greeen glaze with high fire clear glaze over the colors.
Here is a tiger I made me senior year in high school for fun. It went to the OCC 25th Wes Blizzard Visual Art Invitational. I hand built it from a slab of clay, I fired it then painted it with acrylic. After I painted it I drilled holes for the wire wiskers.
